NAC disbanding/reformation Gazetted!

I went offline for the holidays, so I'm a little late bringing you the news. Hopefully you have all heard by now. On December 27th, 2013 the disbanding and reformation of the NAC has been Gazetted. This means it is now official and international adoptions can now resume. I'm so happy for many of you who can now approach the New Year with hope reinstated!

This is so exciting!!!! Does it change the process at all?

Not really. We are seeing some changes in the process with passport applications for children who do not have original birth certificates, now requiring a court order. But other than that, we are actually hoping for some changes that may actually make the process more efficient. Removing one court date would certainly make sense to me, and would shave a little time off in country. We'll see!
